The main results of JUPITER to be made available during the course of the project are:

• Operators have guidelines at their disposal to evaluate user interfaces relevant to multimedia services for residential and business subscribers. The guidelines include priniciples for the improvement of the design of future user interfaces.
• Operators have available a handbook describing the relationship between traffic performance in broadband networks and the quality of multimedia services perceived by the end user. It allows fine tuning of quality versus performance.
• Operators are able to perform end-to-end functional interoperability testing of vendors' equipment against DAVIC 1.0 specifications. Third party devices can be certified before using them in a DAVIC compliant environment.
